This project involves the design of an interactive mobile application intended to guide visitors through a museum dedicated to Japanese culture. Conceived as a digital extension of the physical exhibition, the app offers an enhanced journey combining audio, visual, and interactive content.
The main objective was to create a smooth, visually appealing interface that respects the Japanese visual universe, while ensuring optimal accessibility for all types of audiences.
The main challenge was to find a balance between the project’s strong visual identity and the requirements of mobile accessibility.
Some overly complex animations had to be redesigned to avoid disrupting readability or navigation, especially for older users or those less familiar with digital interfaces. Typographic choices and contrasts also had to be adjusted to ensure comfortable reading across various devices, while preserving the original design’s aesthetic sensitivity.
